Local Celebrity, Doc Lucky Meisenheimer, To Give RENEGADE BOOK MARKETING Talk and BOOK SIGNING
at Downtown Orange County Library

ORLANDO, FL. On Friday, October 15th at 12:30pm, critically-acclaimed, local celebrity Doc Lucky Meisenheimer will be giving an exciting, interactive, multimedia presentation on his revolutionary, “Renegade Book Marketing” techniques for writers, editors, teachers, students, publishing and marketing professionals, and fans of his bestselling novel (on a regional basis), THE IMMUNE.
In making his presentation on Oct. 15, he will play a vital role in The Big Read, a countywide initiative coordinated by the Orange County Library Association. This effort is supported by a $17,050 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and matching funds from local organizations. The program provides citizens with the opportunity to read and discuss authors within their communities, encouraging reading for pleasure and enlightenment.
Doc Lucky’s “Renegade Book Marketing” topics will include:

-How to achieve a record-breaking book signing for a fictional debut.
-Direct and digital (including social media) marketing campaigns.
-Grassroots marketing at conventions across the country.
-Creating a book: from start to finish.
-Entrepreneurial social consciousness (donating profits to philanthropic causes).
-Launching your own publishing company.

Doc Lucky will also be signing copies of his sci fi political thriller, THE IMMUNE (www.theimmune.com), which has sold more than the national average for a new author from an independent publisher. He will also be signing copies of his second book, THE ZOMBIE CAUSE DICTIONARY, which is a satirical yet informative guide to terminology every zombie hunter and zombologist needs to know.
