Jeffrey Keen, President and CEO of JPX Media Group, said 2012 The International Book Award’s contest yielded thousands of entries from authors and publishers around the world, which were then narrowed down to the final results. Also, with the 2012 National Indie Excellence Award, thousands of entries were submitted, more so than in previous years. We are proud of The Immune garnering such prestigious awards within the first year of its release.
Also, The Immune is a finalist for the prestigious ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year Awards. Winners will be announced on June 23rd in California at the American Library Association convention.
Jacquie Krah of http://www.Lytherus.com recently reviewed Doc Lucky’s award winning work and said, “The story began as amusing and quickly evolved to brilliant with a libertarian-themed undercurrent that never took away from the entertainment value. If I had my way, The Immune would be taught in political science and literature classes next to allusion-filled classics like Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies.”
Congratulations to Doc Lucky Meisenheimer for receiving an “Honorable Mention” for his phenomenal, critically acclaimed science fiction thriller, THE IMMUNE, from the prestigious 2012 San Francisco Book Festival Awards!!! Doc Lucky will be honored at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco on Saturday, May 19.
Also, keep your fingers crossed for Doc Lucky winning the ForeWord Book of the Year Award, for which he is currently a finalist in the catagory of Science Fiction. Winners will be announced on June 23 at the American Library Association Convention in California.
